White Smoke and the Pope

You know, after watching on CNN the news about the election of Pope Benedict XVI, I thought to myself:

"What if we can ask our life questions to God and God responds to us by giving us either white smoke or black smoke? Wouldn't life be so much simpler?"

This would be especially helpful when it comes to our struggle in finding our life companion. Let's say there's someone you like and want to pursue but not sure whether this is God's will. So, you ask God: "Is this the right person? Should I pursue?"

You look up to the big chimney in the sky to see whether it's white smoke or black smoke.

Dude, please pass me the binoculars!
