Crossroads Fellowship
Hmmm, Nolan made a great point tonight about the Crossroads fellowship. When I first joined Crossroads, I thought it was a group of individuals who have recently graduated from university and are now at a crossroads between school and career.
Well, Nolan made the observation that Crossroads has now become not only a crossroads between school and career, but also a cross-over of generation, culture, and language. The age of our Crossroads fellowship ranges from early twenties to late forties (?). Also, all three congregations are represented in the fellowship (English, Cantonese, Mandarin). In fact, tonight before the fellowship started, one of the Mandarin speaking Crossroadies gave us a lesson in Mandarin! These lessons will continue and will be held every other Friday. How kewl is that?!
Anyway, I need to start working on the fielding line-up for our double-header on Sunday. Man, that's the hardest part of being the head coach. Those fielding line-ups are hard to do! Bill owes me one.
